The referee ignored ZigZag Athletic's protests and gave Elof Ström a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, ZigZag Athletic's Elof Ström got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 45th minute Nilmar Barbosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Akif Ersoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Rodrigo Nestor made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, LauerArmy's Armandinho Carneiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mehmet Akif Ersoy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. A collision led to ZigZag Athletic getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Elof Ström hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicki Nick got free with Mazinho Dionísio in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to LauerArmy getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Samuca dos Santos hit a great ball. ZigZag Athletic made a substitution. Harry Houdini replaced Elof Ström. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicki Nick in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mazinho Dionísio saved LauerArmy from getting behind. Mazinho Dionísio stood somewhat misplaced when Nicki Nick came free in front of goal and shot 3-2 to the left of him in the 76 minute. After 80 played minutes ZigZag Athletic got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Nestor. In the 83rd minute Armandinho Carneiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Akif Ersoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the game, Elano Andrade threw the ball into play from the sideline. ZigZag Athletic's Fidel Shantala quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Nicki Nick hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. LauerArmy's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
