An unexpectedly hard shot by Moisés Arruda in the 5th minute of play forced Triforce Super Soccer's goalkeeper Bruno Ferreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute of the match, Moisés Arruda got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bruno Ferreira was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Aimar Aimar might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bruno Ferreira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aimar Aimar ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 20th minute of the match, Hélder Bueno got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bruno Ferreira was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of Ique Football Club booed when Triforce Super Soccer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laerte Mendes didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Triforce Super Soccer getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Vicente Munhoz hit a great ball. 32 minutes into the game, Vicente Munhoz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Triforce Super Soccer's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ique Football Club the free kick. After 32 played minutes Triforce Super Soccer got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Munhoz. Bruno Ferreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aimar Aimar in the 33rd minute of play. After 34 minutes Triforce Super Soccer's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Samuca Leal who took care of the corner kick. Ique Football Club's Samuca Leal was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bruno Ferreira in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, Ique Football Club's Ulysses Pinheiro got a free kick in the 38th minute. Bruno Ferreira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aimar Aimar's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. Bruno Ferreira made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Moisés Arruda sent off a good shot on target. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Duarte Trevisan to strike the kick off in the second half. Aimar Aimar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Bruno Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ique Football Club made a substitution. Roberto Souza replaced Hélder Bueno. In the 61st match minute, Triforce Super Soccer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duarte Trevisan to maneuver through the defense. If Aimar Aimar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Duarte Trevisan's late challenge caught a Ique Football Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Duarte Trevisan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 64th match minute, Triforce Super Soccer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duarte Trevisan to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aimar Aimar in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruno Ferreira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ique Football Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Samuca Leal in the 67th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Triforce Super Soccer's goal looked a bit too open when Cafu Varela came free, but Bruno Ferreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ique Football Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Samuca Leal in the 70th minute. After 72 minutes of play Triforce Super Soccer's Vicente Munhoz was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 72nd minute, Vicente Munhoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Aimar Aimar came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Ique Football Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aimar Aimar couldn't finish the play. 76 minutes into the match, Ique Football Club's Aimar Aimar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bruno Ferreira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bruno Ferreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aimar Aimar, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Paulão Pombal charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulão Pombal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Paulão Pombal hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. When José Vítor Zonta fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Triforce Super Soccer's protests and gave José Vítor Zonta a yellow card for diving instead. After 86 played minutes Triforce Super Soccer got a freekick which was hit by José Vítor Zonta. A collision led to Ique Football Club getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Perivaldo Sampaio hit a great ball. When the referee ended the match the Ique Football Club players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
