An unexpectedly hard shot by Kuzman Tzankov in the 20th minute of play forced Kosynierzy FC's goalkeeper Cyryl Walkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Steven Gerard took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cyryl Walkowski. Cyryl Walkowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. With a little luck, ПАРТИЗАН Червен бряг's Georgi Naidenov got control of the ball when Aleksander Pruss tried to sneak it across the goal line. But to his dismay, Steven Gerard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Steven Gerard to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Kuzman Tzankov took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Cyryl Walkowski to make any attempt to save it. In the 58th minute, Steven Gerard left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net.
