KFC Cromvelde's supporters rose to their feet, but Jakob Gillekens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jesus Farias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Celedonio Teofilio in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gunter Roeckeloes saved KFC Cromvelde from getting behind. KFC Cromvelde's Gunter Roeckeloes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celedonio Teofilio in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th minute Defensores del Tiki Tiki were awarded a corner. Antonio Furman went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Defensores del Tiki Tiki's Antonio Furman to fire away a dangerous shot which Gunter Roeckeloes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in KFC Cromvelde's zone, Evaristo Shantala stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gunter Roeckeloes came out of the goal and Evaristo Shantala tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jakob Gillekens during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 27 played minutes KFC Cromvelde got a freekick which was hit by Jakob Gillekens. Antonio Furman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gunter Roeckeloes. KFC Cromvelde's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 37th minute, Evaristo Shantala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celedonio Teofilio in the 41st minute of play forced KFC Cromvelde's goalkeeper Gunter Roeckeloes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 41 played minutes Defensores del Tiki Tiki got a freekick which was hit by Celedonio Teofilio. After 46 minutes, Freddy Cromefeldt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KFC Cromvelde and the Defensores del Tiki Tiki players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 47 played minutes KFC Cromvelde got a freekick which was hit by Freddy Cromefeldt.

52 minutes into the match, Defensores del Tiki Tiki's Celedonio Teofilio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gunter Roeckeloes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Evaristo Shantala got free with Gunter Roeckeloes in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. KFC Cromvelde's Gunter Roeckeloes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save KFC Cromvelde from getting a goal against them. Steve Hyuga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 64 minutes into the match, KFC Cromvelde's goalkeeper Gunter Roeckeloes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Evaristo Shantala. The supporters of Defensores del Tiki Tiki booed when KFC Cromvelde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timmy Van Campenhout didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute, Antonio Furman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
