In the 11th match minute, Sporting Burgas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benat Millán to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the match, Sporting Burgas's goal looked a bit too open when Fırat Elhan came free, but Álvaro Perpiñán reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 18 minutes, Benat Millán mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sporting Burgas and the Trabzonspor players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Sporting Burgas getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Benat Millán hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the game, Fırat Elhan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. In the 89th minute, Osman Ali Vatansever hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute of the match Seve Sevilla shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ulryk Jarosiewicz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Trabzonspor's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
