If Alexander Di Persio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Narciso Guimarães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mel Önen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Narciso Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mel Önen in the 12th minute of play. Narciso Guimarães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mel Önen, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. The audience was convinced that Alexander Di Persio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Narciso Guimarães was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. In the 36thth minute of the game Mel Önen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but October 04's Narciso Guimarães was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mel Önen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Narciso Guimarães read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute, Mel Önen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Narciso Guimarães was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mel Önen to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Waldemar de Sena the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of October 04 protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Waldemar de Sena had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 74 minutes into the game, one of October 04:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Narciso Guimarães dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edinho do Nascimento in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Narciso Guimarães prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Narciso Guimarães made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edinho do Nascimento in the 95th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alexander Di Persio in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Narciso Guimarães prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match was over AC Collins could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than October 04 throughout the match.
