The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro Luiz de Moraes in the 2nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gianluca Pagliuca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 3 minutes had been played when some careless play by TEAM DEATHMATCH WARSZAWA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Phil Naylor was slow to take the kick. During this time Heavenly Hooters's players had a chance to rest. Gianluca Pagliuca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Luiz de Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. After 9 played minutes TEAM DEATHMATCH WARSZAWA got a freekick which was hit by Leonard Gondek. Gianluca Pagliuca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Luiz de Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th match minute, TEAM DEATHMATCH WARSZAWA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maciej Golembiewski to maneuver through the defense. Gianluca Pagliuca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Phil Naylor in the 14th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedro Luiz de Moraes in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gianluca Pagliuca saved TEAM DEATHMATCH WARSZAWA from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brandon Wright in the 21st minute of play forced TEAM DEATHMATCH WARSZAWA's goalkeeper Gianluca Pagliuca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Pedro Luiz de Moraes put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Gianluca Pagliuca. When Pedro Luiz de Moraes came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Heavenly Hooters fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Luiz de Moraes couldn't finish the play. TEAM DEATHMATCH WARSZAWA's Gianluca Pagliuca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brandon Wright in the 43rd minute of play. After 44th play minutes Todd Griffiths shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Gianluca Pagliuca and just under the crossbar into goal. The TEAM DEATHMATCH WARSZAWA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Heavenly Hooters were winning 0-3.

The wind increased when Hieronim Paciuszko made the kick off in the second half. Pedro Luiz de Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 50th minute. Gianluca Pagliuca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Heavenly Hooters's Richárd Bódog got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 56th minute Fryderyk Dlugi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lennie Rusby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th minute Pedro Luiz de Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gianluca Pagliuca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Gianluca Pagliuca managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when Heavenly Hooters's Pedro Luiz de Moraes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Phil Naylor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gianluca Pagliuca having to interfere. Todd Griffiths scored 0-4 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gianluca Pagliuca, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gianluca Pagliuca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Todd Connery's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd minute of the match Heavenly Hooters got a corner. TEAM DEATHMATCH WARSZAWA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Phil Naylor ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Heavenly Hooters's Phil Naylor to fire away a dangerous shot which Gianluca Pagliuca despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 74 minutes of play, Heavenly Hooters's Todd Griffiths made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gianluca Pagliuca was left in no man's land by his defense there! Heavenly Hooters's Marty King was substituted for Phil Naylor. When Heavenly Hooters's Todd Connery in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the final whistle sounded Heavenly Hooters left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than TEAM DEATHMATCH WARSZAWA.
