Villarreal Ubach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavinho Reis having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Villarreal Ubach managed to get in a good position for a shot. Porteño Prowess FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Villarreal Ubach was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flavinho Reis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 33rd match minute, CE LAJEADENSE RS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Fărcășan to maneuver through the defense. Flavinho Reis was a little too slow when Villarreal Ubach got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 1-0. Benjamin Cantolla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zhuo Chao Chuan, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Villarreal Ubach stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The throw-in from Leonel Martins in the 72nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Porteño Prowess FC's Urtzi Molinuevo. 77 minutes into the match, CE LAJEADENSE RS's goal looked a bit too open when Villarreal Ubach came free, but Flavinho Reis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute, Celsinho Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 92 minutes, Fiallos Mellado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Porteño Prowess FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fiallos Mellado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The throw-in from Celsinho Castro in the 94th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Porteño Prowess FC's Veronica Zaldain. There was no doubt that Porteño Prowess FC were the better team. Porteño Prowess FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
