In the 2nd match minute, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fortunato Pasin to maneuver through the defense. 7 minutes into the match, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Hermengildo Nesor came free, but Mugurel Bleoancă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hermengildo Nesor did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Mugurel Bleoancă 7 minutes into the match. Winthont FC's Hermengildo Nesor got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 14 minutes into the game, Winthont FC's Hermengildo Nesor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mugurel Bleoancă made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 17 minutes into the game, Fortunato Pasin threw the ball into play from the sideline. Winthont FC's Fred Zandberg quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Hermengildo Nesor might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mugurel Bleoancă. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hermengildo Nesor ran back to his position shaking his head. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Mugurel Bleoancă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermengildo Nesor in the 21st minute of play. Fortunato Pasin kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Cosmin Sichitiu might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dennis Beerthuis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cosmin Sichitiu ran back to his position shaking his head. 35 minutes into the match, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goalkeeper Mugurel Bleoancă had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hermengildo Nesor. Mugurel Bleoancă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermengildo Nesor, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Hermengildo Nesor did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Mugurel Bleoancă 41 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Yağızalp Öznur struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Mugurel Bleoancă didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Winthont FC. Fortunato Pasin kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. The supporters of Winthont FC booed when Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remus Voican didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Winthont FC's Pascal Zegeling got a free kick in the 57th minute. After 58 played minutes Winthont FC got a freekick which was hit by Fred Zandberg. In the 59th minute Cosmin Sichitiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dennis Beerthuis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mugurel Bleoancă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermengildo Nesor in the 61st minute of play. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Cosmin Sichitiu got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dennis Beerthuis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ilie Malcocea, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Fortunato Pasin made in the 71st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Hunor Bela immediately put the ball in play. Fortunato Pasin's late challenge caught a Winthont FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fortunato Pasin helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Winthont FC booed when Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fortunato Pasin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mugurel Bleoancă didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sixto Gorbea went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Igor Fujara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Mugurel Bleoancă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the game, Cosmin Sichitiu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dennis Beerthuis. Cosmin Sichitiu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-1. Sixto Gorbea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sixto Gorbea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mugurel Bleoancă having to make a save. Mugurel Bleoancă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sixto Gorbea in the 92nd minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Winthont FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
