Spectators: 8014 (Terracing: 6012, Seating: 1843, VIP seats: 159) Menchu FC's Junior Savaş started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Junior Savaş might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Georg Vallin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Junior Savaş ran back to his position shaking his head. Junior Savaş could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Georg Vallin made a huge save. Marcelo Gallardo hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 6th minute Oscar Löfgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Ostots saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Georg Vallin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Junior Savaş, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Georg Vallin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Junior Savaş's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Protegéerna's Georg Vallin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Junior Savaş in the 12th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 15 minutes into the game, when Carlos Puyol put in a rough tackle. 15 minutes into the game, one of Menchu FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Menchu FC:s Jacinto Ostots showed great skill when he stopped Holger Lekberg:s penalty. A collision led to Protegéerna getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Holger Lekberg hit a great ball. Junior Savaş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Georg Vallin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Protegéerna's goalkeeper Georg Vallin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jacinto Ostots showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Holger Lekberg in the 32nd minute of the match. Georg Vallin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Junior Savaş, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Menchu FC's Junior Savaş dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Junior Savaş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Georg Vallin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Junior Savaş in the 45th minute of play. After 47 minutes of play, Protegéerna's Holger Lekberg made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacinto Ostots was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Holger Lekberg to make the kick off. Junior Savaş scored 2-2 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Georg Vallin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Junior Savaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 64th minute, Eulalio Fidensio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Protegéerna's Roy Gallberg was substituted for Bertil Glad. Junior Savaş scored 3-2 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Georg Vallin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Georg Vallin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Junior Savaş in the 74th minute of the match. Jacinto Ostots showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Holger Lekberg in the 77th minute of the match. In the 80th minute of the match Protegéerna got a corner. Menchu FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fredrik Billberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. The Menchu FC fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when Menchu FC's Leonel Karlo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 84 minutes into the game, Thomas Lind was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Protegéerna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Menchu FC the free kick. The supporters of Menchu FC booed when Protegéerna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomas Lind didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 85 played minutes, Menchu FC's Marcelo Gallardo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Georg Vallin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Menchu FC reached it. In the 86th minute, Junior Savaş left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Menchu FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. Jacinto Ostots had in the 92ndth minute some difficulties stopping Holger Lekberg's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball In the 92nd minute, Holger Lekberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacinto Ostots was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-3. Georg Vallin came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Menchu FC's Aristides Inge. But to his dismay, Aristides Inge quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-3. The throw-in from Fredrik Billberg in the 99th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Menchu FC's Leonel Karlo. Leonel Karlo scored 7-3 in the 99th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Georg Vallin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Menchu FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
