Sílvio Luiz de Godoi was slow to take the kick. During this time Sport Club Mavericks's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Sílvio Luiz de Godoi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this 曹雄升 quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 22 minutes into the match, Sport Club Mavericks's goalkeeper Marcelo Gröhe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 洪强宽. 曹雄升 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İslam Tunçbilek in the 25th minute of the match. Marcelo Gröhe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 洪强宽 in the 27th minute of play. After having played for 29 minutes, 卓银弘 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sport Club Mavericks's supporters crossed their fingers, but 卓银弘 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when 洪强宽 made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Sport Club Mavericks's goal looked a bit too open when 西门 吹雪 came free, but Marcelo Gröhe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sport Club Mavericks's Marcelo Gröhe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 曹辉轩 in the 53rd minute of play. With a little luck, 沛水龙城's 曹雄升 got control of the ball when 卓银弘 tried to sneak it across the goal line. But to his dismay, 洪强宽 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Elder Arantes hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by 曹辉轩 in the 91st minute of play forced Sport Club Mavericks's goalkeeper Marcelo Gröhe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 曹辉轩 took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcelo Gröhe. Marcelo Gröhe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The 沛水龙城 fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sport Club Mavericks had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
