PICCOLE PESTI's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jovens Democratas MZC the free kick. Pitt Rosich hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Anthony Sacchi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Durval de Queirós, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. In the 7th minute Armando Corna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmo Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Dobromir Zagrodny kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Anthony Sacchi. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. With a little luck, PICCOLE PESTI's Anthony Sacchi got control of the ball when Xu Li Sang tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anthony Sacchi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dobromir Zagrodny in the 16th minute. Dalmo Saldanha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ettore Varglien, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chico de Sousa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Anthony Sacchi made a huge save. Dalmo Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Corna in the 26th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Armando Corna to make the kick off. Ettore Varglien scored 2-2 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dalmo Saldanha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Chico de Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the match, Durval de Queirós notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of PICCOLE PESTI's Anthony Sacchi. Anthony Sacchi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 68th minute, André Luiz Medeiros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jovens Democratas MZC's Serginho Sabóia was substituted for Xu Li Sang. In the 70th match minute, Jovens Democratas MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Luiz Medeiros to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ettore Varglien got free with Dalmo Saldanha in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 79th minute, Bianco Spinelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 81 minutes of play, Jovens Democratas MZC's Pedro Luís Ramalho made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anthony Sacchi was left in no man's land by his defense there!
