An unexpectedly hard shot by Carolo Nardo in the 29th minute of play forced The Obscurials's goalkeeper Safet Hands to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th match minute, The Obscurials was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar Ruggeri to maneuver through the defense. 朱迪凡 hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anders Westerstrand made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Spams's goal looked a bit too open when Adriano Ribeiro came free, but Faustino Jerold reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Spams's Safet Hands threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edgar Tscherner, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by The Obscurials's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alfredo Mino was slow to take the kick. During this time Spams's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Alfredo Mino got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Safet Hands quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The Obscurials's Jimmie Cai was substituted for Kevin Lyle. Nelson Wright sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Spams's goalkeeper Faustino Jerold, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Edgar Tscherner kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Safet Hands. That made the score 2-1 in the 73 minute of play. The Obscurials made a substitution. Michel Platini replaced Cliff Rowden. In the 77th minute, Anton Kjellkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Faustino Jerold stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adriano Ribeiro's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. The supporters of Spams booed when The Obscurials was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anton Kjellkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball.
