Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) Jason Ležák made the kick off and thus started the match. 6 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Fiúza threw the ball into play from the sideline. San Fantastico 89ers's Robin Juhlin quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 13 played minutes Bacardi Black Bats got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Fiúza. 19 minutes into the game, Laureano Águas lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Pål Holm. Pål Holm stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Laureano Águas's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Laureano Águas scored 2-0 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pål Holm, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pål Holm made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Abílio Castelo Branco sent off a good shot on target. San Fantastico 89ers's Filip Jakobsson quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Laércio Águas, made in the 36th minute of the game. In the 37th minute Laureano Águas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pål Holm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reginaldo Luz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Pål Holm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th minute Albert Lindberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juvenal Novais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juvenal Novais came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by San Fantastico 89ers's Harry Mogren. But to his dismay, Harry Mogren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Laureano Águas to strike the kick off in the second half. Juvenal Novais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jason Ležák in the 57th minute of the match. In the 58th minute of the match San Fantastico 89ers got a corner. Bacardi Black Bats's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jason Ležák ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Alexandre Mafra fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bacardi Black Bats's protests and gave Alexandre Mafra a yellow card for diving instead. Bacardi Black Bats's Laércio Águas got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 78th minute Olívio Salgado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pål Holm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laureano Águas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pål Holm having to make a save. San Fantastico 89ers's Pål Holm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laureano Águas in the 80th minute of play. Laureano Águas took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pål Holm. Pål Holm dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. After a defensive mix-up in San Fantastico 89ers's zone, Laureano Águas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pål Holm came out of the goal and Laureano Águas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jason Ležák received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Juvenal Novais tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pål Holm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abílio Castelo Branco in the 95th minute of play. Robin Juhlin hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When Reginaldo Luz fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bacardi Black Bats's protests and gave Reginaldo Luz a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of San Fantastico 89ers booed when Bacardi Black Bats was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reginaldo Luz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Bacardi Black Bats players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
