The supporters of Real Santista FC booed when Monitor Huáscar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Víctor-Ricardo Rivadeneyra-Salgado didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute, Hortêncio Cardoso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Santista FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Luís Gustavo Ferreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Johans Ortubia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Monitor Huáscar's Johans Ortubia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hortêncio Cardoso in the 19th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Hortêncio Cardoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johans Ortubia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivan Cebada recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26th minute Luís Gustavo Ferreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johans Ortubia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Monitor Huáscar defense, Hortêncio Cardoso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Johans Ortubia. The Monitor Huáscar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Johans Ortubia should have stopped the shot. 31 minutes into the game, Hortêncio Cardoso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Johans Ortubia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Johans Ortubia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcel Paranaense's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. 38 minutes into the game, Marcel Paranaense cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Johans Ortubia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 47 minutes into the match, Marcel Paranaense had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Johans Ortubia. Monitor Huáscar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcel Paranaense was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5.

The wind increased when Hortêncio Cardoso made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oxel Viñales in the 52nd minute of play forced Real Santista FC's goalkeeper Magno Leme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hortêncio Cardoso succeeded in the game's 57th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-6. Johans Ortubia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcel Paranaense in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 70th minute Hortêncio Cardoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johans Ortubia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 71 played minutes Monitor Huáscar got a freekick which was hit by Benigno Torne. Monitor Huáscar's Weterio Rocandia was substituted for Medardo Pombo. Monitor Huáscar made a substitution. Steven Fortis replaced Ivan Cebada. Benigno Torne hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Johans Ortubia was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hortêncio Cardoso showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 73 minute of play. Steven Fortis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Magno Leme having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Real Santista FC's Jeremias Abreu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Johans Ortubia. That made the score 0-8 after 85 minutes of play. Marcel Paranaense struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Johans Ortubia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Santista FC. 89 minutes into the match, Monitor Huáscar's goal looked a bit too open when Hortêncio Cardoso came free, but Johans Ortubia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 90 played minutes Real Santista FC got a freekick which was hit by Wincent Arbaszewski. When Monitor Huáscar's Steven Fortis in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Real Santista FC's goalie prevented a goal.
