The referee ignored SeleSantos FC's protests and gave Vivaldo Loureiro a yellow card for diving instead. After 16 played minutes SeleSantos FC got a freekick which was hit by Vivaldo Loureiro. 16 minutes into the match, SeleSantos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Tercero came free, but Roberto Oliveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cássio do Vale took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Keylor Martínez. Ernesto Herrera who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Roberto Oliveira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Celso Guillelme kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Roberto Oliveira. That made the score 2-1 in the 36 minute of play. Ulises Orlanda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, SeleSantos FC's Roberto Oliveira got control of the ball when Ernesto Herrera tried to sneak it across the goal line. Roberto Oliveira made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Ulises Orlanda sent off a good shot on target. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cássio do Vale made a kick off. German Fernandez hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute, Ernesto Herrera made a precise shot to the right of Roberto Oliveira.
