The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bert Sturm was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gláuber Gaspar showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. Bert Sturm made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Marco Prestes sent off a good shot on target. A well-hit corner resulted in Pieter Bruinsma heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After having played for 18 minutes, Erben Lanting managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jacksonville 67's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erben Lanting was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 21 minutes into the game, Marco Prestes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bert Sturm. Marco Prestes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. After 23 minutes, Adhemar Branco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ALMA GUERREIRA and the Jacksonville 67 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 23rd minute, Adhemar Branco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the match, Adhemar Branco dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bert Sturm, 4-0. Bert Sturm made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Marco Prestes sent off a good shot on target. Fabian Reitsma took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vito Cearense. ALMA GUERREIRA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Vito Cearense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erben Lanting, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the game, Erben Lanting cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Vito Cearense was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 43rd match minute, ALMA GUERREIRA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adhemar Branco to maneuver through the defense. Vito Cearense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erben Lanting in the 47th minute of the match. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by ALMA GUERREIRA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fabian Reitsma was slow to take the kick. During this time Jacksonville 67's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Jacksonville 67's corner Fabian Reitsma fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vito Cearense quite easily take care of the ball.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erben Lanting stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vito Cearense made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Fabian Reitsma sent off a good shot on target. In the 55th minute, Erben Lanting got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Jacksonville 67's Fabian Reitsma got a free kick in the 57th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erben Lanting during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Erben Lanting kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Pieter Bruinsma hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erben Lanting in the 65th minute of play forced ALMA GUERREIRA's goalkeeper Vito Cearense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jean-Paul Reinhard blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vito Cearense having to make a save. ALMA GUERREIRA's Adhemar Branco got his second yellow card of the match in the 71st minute. The referee ordered Adhemar Branco off the ground. Adhemar Branco kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Bert Sturm stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marco Prestes's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Gláuber Gaspar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Bert Sturm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vito Cearense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erben Lanting in the 80th minute of the match. Erben Lanting received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Vito Cearense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabian Reitsma could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Vito Cearense made a huge save. Luizão Quirino struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Bert Sturm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ALMA GUERREIRA. 89 minutes into the match, ALMA GUERREIRA's goal looked a bit too open when Erben Lanting came free, but Vito Cearense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastião Soares charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastião Soares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 90th match minute, ALMA GUERREIRA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastião Soares to maneuver through the defense. Erben Lanting recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 94 minutes of play, ALMA GUERREIRA's Luizão Quirino made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bert Sturm was left in no man's land by his defense there! It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. ALMA GUERREIRA had played much better football throughout.
