Bianco Bianco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Eddie Alström when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 20th minute, Sao Brasola's Bianco Bianco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Eddie Alström. Eddie Alström yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Eskil Nordin's late challenge caught a Sao Brasola's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eskil Nordin helped the player get up and apologised. Eskil Nordin hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute, Ettore Bertini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute, Peder Månsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fulvio Sanna was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bianco Bianco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
