Slawomir Gotfryd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arlo Albiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Slawomir Gotfryd came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Caaguazu's Reyes Barcenilla. But to his dismay, Reyes Barcenilla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reyes Barcenilla in the 20th minute of play forced FK Husaria Bielsko-Biala's goalkeeper Slawomir Gotfryd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Czeslaw Sliwinski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Johnny Paredes made a huge save. Slawomir Gotfryd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reyes Barcenilla in the 24th minute of the match. The supporters of FK Husaria Bielsko-Biala booed when Caaguazu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Errolan Cillero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Boruc Rosen hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After the first half Caaguazu were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arlo Albiz was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, FK Husaria Bielsko-Biala's Antoni Chowaniec got a free kick in the 93rd minute. When the final whistle sounded Caaguazu left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FK Husaria Bielsko-Biala.
