Nando Barros took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jerold Hooper. Jerold Hooper dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Marshrose were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Mosqueteiros 4EVER's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marion Moon took the corner. Marshrose's Marion Moon was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Juvenal Moreira in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience was convinced that Jake Perrault's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juvenal Moreira was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. With an all-out effort, Mosqueteiros 4EVER's Jerold Hooper threw himself towards the right post 14 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Matheus Rosado, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Juvenal Moreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jake Perrault in the 16th minute of the match. Marion Moon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juvenal Moreira having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leandro Pombal got free with Jerold Hooper in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 31 minutes into the match, Mosqueteiros 4EVER's goal looked a bit too open when Wilber Padgett came free, but Juvenal Moreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Leandro Pombal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mosqueteiros 4EVER's supporters rose to their feet, but Leandro Pombal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jerold Hooper breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 35th minute Wilber Padgett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juvenal Moreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mosqueteiros 4EVER's Juvenal Moreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Garrett LaCaille in the 44th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jake Perrault in the 46th minute of play forced Mosqueteiros 4EVER's goalkeeper Juvenal Moreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute Wilber Padgett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juvenal Moreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leandro Pombal made a kick off. In the 51st minute Blair Mélançon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juvenal Moreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Marshrose's Jake Perrault in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mosqueteiros 4EVER's goalie prevented a goal. Juvenal Moreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jake Perrault, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 62 played minutes Mosqueteiros 4EVER got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Ceresso. If Marion Moon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 64th minute, Norberto do Nascimento made a precise shot to the right of Jerold Hooper. Marshrose's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 70th minute, one of Mosqueteiros 4EVER:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mosqueteiros 4EVER. In the 73rd match minute, Mosqueteiros 4EVER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nando Barros to maneuver through the defense. Mosqueteiros 4EVER's Juvenal Moreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilber Padgett in the 77th minute of play. Nando Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Jerold Hooper tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mosqueteiros 4EVER's Juvenal Moreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marion Moon in the 80th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Jake Perrault ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juvenal Moreira was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Jerold Hooper showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leandro Pombal, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 87th match minute, Mosqueteiros 4EVER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Saldanha to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matheus Rosado in the 90th minute of play forced Marshrose's goalkeeper Jerold Hooper to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Vicente Saldanha fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mosqueteiros 4EVER's protests and gave Vicente Saldanha a yellow card for diving instead. A hard shot by Marion Moon from long distance, 92 minutes into the match, got Juvenal Moreira's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Mosqueteiros 4EVER's Norberto do Nascimento got his second yellow card of the match in the 92nd minute. The referee ordered Norberto do Nascimento off the ground. Norberto do Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. After 96 minutes Mosqueteiros 4EVER's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marion Moon who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Marion Moon almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mosqueteiros 4EVER's Juvenal Moreira did a great save. In the 98th minute, Marshrose's Marion Moon ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Juvenal Moreira. Juvenal Moreira yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. Marshrose's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
