Spectators: 7448 (Terracing: 5587, Seating: 1713, VIP seats: 148) Dirk Decker made the kick off and thus started the match. Fc Schönhagen's Mika Funk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frederik Vielmann in the 6th minute of play. Fredi Pahlke could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Olaf Lübke made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fredi Pahlke in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olaf Lübke prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 11th minute Mel Ecker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mika Funk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mika Funk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mirco Maier in the 12th minute of play. Heinrich Ziervogel charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Heinrich Ziervogel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 14th minute of the game. One of SC Otten:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Fc Schönhagen:s goal. After 18 minutes of play, SC Otten's Mel Ecker made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mika Funk was left in no man's land by his defense there! 21 minutes into the match, Fc Schönhagen's goal looked a bit too open when Mel Ecker came free, but Mika Funk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Fc Schönhagen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mika Funk should have stopped the shot. Heinrich Ziervogel made in the 46th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Fc Schönhagen's Wilhelm Schwering. A collision led to SC Otten getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Dirk Decker hit a great ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fredi Pahlke to make the kick off. Mika Funk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dirk Decker in the 51st minute. 53 minutes into the game, SC Otten's Mirco Maier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mika Funk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Dirk Decker's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mika Funk firmly grabbed it by the left post. Mika Funk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mel Ecker in the 57th minute of play.
