Spectators: 7451 (Terracing: 5590, Seating: 1713, VIP seats: 148) Malcolm Neal started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 5th minute Marcin Karwowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Merlin Dolan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the game, Emil Gamza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sportis SFC Baca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zamalek FC the free kick. With his leg Merlin Dolan managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Sportis SFC Baca's Marcin Karwowski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Boguslaw Dembkowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Merlin Dolan having to interfere. Stasio Pyrzyce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denny Olson in the 26th minute of the match. Marcin Karwowski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Merlin Dolan came out and tried to block the shot, but Marcin Karwowski slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 29th minute. In the 32nd minute, Tobiasz Piczak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lloyd Warren hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Sportis SFC Baca's Marcin Karwowski got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 42 minutes into the game, Tuan Libby was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zamalek FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sportis SFC Baca the free kick. Marcin Karwowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Merlin Dolan having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Malcolm Neal in the 46th minute of play forced Sportis SFC Baca's goalkeeper Stasio Pyrzyce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The crowd rose to their feet as Denny Olson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Stasio Pyrzyce. That made the score 2-1 in the 52 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Zamalek FC's zone, Marcin Karwowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Merlin Dolan came out of the goal and Marcin Karwowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcin Karwowski struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Merlin Dolan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sportis SFC Baca. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Denny Olson during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Denny Olson hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. The supporters of Zamalek FC booed when Sportis SFC Baca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcin Karwowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Damazy Tscherner hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Marcin Karwowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Boguslaw Dembkowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zamalek FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
