The Kind of Blue fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Åke Frisk should have stopped the shot. After 18 played minutes Kind of Blue got a freekick which was hit by Edmund Skålberg. Kind of Blue's Åke Frisk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robustiano Gipuzkoa in the 20th minute of play. Åke Frisk came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Wallace FC's Robustiano Gipuzkoa. But to his dismay, Robustiano Gipuzkoa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 26 minutes of play, Wallace FC's Robustiano Gipuzkoa made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Åke Frisk was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Kim Samuelsson got free with Bruno Elia in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bruno Elia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt-Åke Alkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After a rather tough play, Wallace FC's Mariano Rami got a free kick in the 35th minute. Bruno Elia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bengt-Åke Alkvist in the 41st minute. The supporters of Kind of Blue booed when Wallace FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Rami didn't get a good kick on the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Wallace FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 44th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Bruno Elia, was totally fooled by Kind of Blue's Ralf Klint, who 45 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bengt-Åke Alkvist made a kick off. Holger Springfält scored 2-3 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Elia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bruno Elia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bengt-Åke Alkvist's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Erasmo Turi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Åke Frisk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Robustiano Gipuzkoa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Carolo Chano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Åke Frisk, 2-4. Wallace FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
