Spectators: 7482 (Terracing: 5613, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Bengt-Åke Alkvist made the kick off which started today's match. After some careless play in the Doctor defense, Holger Springfält kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fred Keerme. The Doctor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fred Keerme should have stopped the shot. When Eric Åkesson fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kind of Blue's protests and gave Eric Åkesson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th match minute, Kind of Blue was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eric Åkesson to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Doctor's Sulev Rahu got a free kick in the 8th minute. Doctor's Fred Keerme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt-Åke Alkvist in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Bengt-Åke Alkvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fred Keerme was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The audience was convinced that Bengt-Åke Alkvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fred Keerme was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Fred Keerme stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bengt-Åke Alkvist's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Erki Hanni hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kunnar Eesti during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Holger Springfält came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Kind of Blue fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Holger Springfält couldn't finish the play. Kim Samuelsson scored 0-3 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fred Keerme, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Malte Siöberg came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Doctor's Kunnar Eesti. But to his dismay, Kunnar Eesti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Erki Hanni kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bengt-Åke Alkvist in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fred Keerme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Doctor's Kunnar Eesti slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Malte Siöberg. That made the score 2-3 after 45 minutes of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kunnar Eesti to strike the kick off in the second half. After 50 played minutes Kind of Blue got a freekick which was hit by Timmy Hammarström. In the 51st minute, Kunnar Eesti sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Kind of Blue's Malte Siöberg didn't even have to move. In the 59th match minute, Doctor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erki Hanni to maneuver through the defense. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by Doctor's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ralf Klint was slow to take the kick. During this time Kind of Blue's players had a chance to rest. Bengt-Åke Alkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Torsten Haström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fred Keerme read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th minute of the match Kind of Blue got a corner. Doctor's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ralf Klint ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Eric Åkesson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fred Keerme quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt-Åke Alkvist in the 77th minute of play forced Doctor's goalkeeper Fred Keerme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Per Tunberg charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Per Tunberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Per Tunberg hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Kunnar Eesti was shown his second yellow card after 82 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 83rd minute, Kunnar Eesti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bengt-Åke Alkvist's late challenge caught a Doctor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bengt-Åke Alkvist helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Doctor booed when Kind of Blue was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bengt-Åke Alkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Kind of Blue eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
