An unexpectedly hard shot by Reces Bacheler in the 17th minute of play forced Piotrków Trybunalski's goalkeeper Leon Mentus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 23 played minutes Piotrków Trybunalski got a freekick which was hit by Kazimierz Skaradoski. Piotrków Trybunalski's Leon Mentus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reces Bacheler in the 26th minute of play. Duardo Pruniel scored 0-2 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leon Mentus, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Leon Mentus came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Ornitorrincos F.C.'s Reces Bacheler. But to his dismay, Reces Bacheler quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Leon Mentus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duardo Pruniel, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After some careless play in the Piotrków Trybunalski defense, Valentín Bello kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leon Mentus. The Piotrków Trybunalski fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leon Mentus should have stopped the shot. When Ornitorrincos F.C.'s Duardo Pruniel in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Piotrków Trybunalski's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jaume Jarabran was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. 71 minutes into the match, Piotrków Trybunalski's goal looked a bit too open when Valentín Bello came free, but Leon Mentus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Duardo Pruniel got free with Leon Mentus in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jaume Jarabran came free with the goalkeeper in the 77th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Leon Mentus could save by the left post. Duardo Pruniels short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Leon Mentus to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
