Spectators: 7520 (Terracing: 5641, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Koen Van der Hoeven started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Vivaldo Horta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Conrado Atarratze was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. When Evaristo Eneas fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Coruña FC's protests and gave Evaristo Eneas a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to La Coruña FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Evaristo Eneas hit a great ball. Roberto Pinhal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Conrado Atarratze tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, La Coruña FC's Conrado Atarratze got control of the ball when Vivaldo Horta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Conrado Atarratze made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gusmão Veiga in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd match minute, La Coruña FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesar Obano to maneuver through the defense. Gusmão Veiga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Conrado Atarratze made a huge save. Conrado Atarratze made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vivaldo Horta in the 27th minute of play. A collision led to FC Beatriz 08 getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Gusmão Veiga hit a great ball. Conrado Atarratze showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Pinhal in the 33rd minute of the match. La Coruña FC's Conrado Atarratze proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save La Coruña FC from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roberto Pinhal to make the kick off. Abel Meira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Koen Van der Hoeven in the 55th minute of play. In the 63rd match minute, La Coruña FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Americo Cortez to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Coruña FC's goalkeeper Conrado Atarratze, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. FC Beatriz 08 were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after La Coruña FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gervásio Mourato took the corner. At last the ball reached Sidónio Quental at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of La Coruña FC. 2-0. Roberto Pinhal took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Conrado Atarratze. Conrado Atarratze dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 77th minute, Cesar Obano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 90 minutes into the match, Roberto Pinhal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Conrado Atarratze. La Coruña FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roberto Pinhal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. The throw-in from Gregório Brochado in the 95th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by La Coruña FC's Cesar Obano. The FC Beatriz 08 support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
