Oldham Athletic's Mattias Pihlgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Gualtieri in the 18th minute of play. Elliot Alkvist who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Mattias Pihlgren when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 68 minutes into the game, Frank Gualtieri cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Mattias Pihlgren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Oldham Athletic's Per-Erik Rydberg was substituted for Valentin Jonsson. Oldham Athletic's Mattias Pihlgren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Oldham Athletic from getting a goal against them. In the 86th minute of the match, Frank Gualtieri got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mattias Pihlgren was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Los Frogos's Sverker Nyberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per-Erik Rydberg in the 90th minute of play. Adrian Pettersson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 95 minutes of play, Oldham Athletic's Jimmy Linquist made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sverker Nyberg was left in no man's land by his defense there!
