Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dionisio Gartzea didn't get a good kick on the ball. C. A. Atlanta's Arnoldo Kismi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armand Hemeleers in the 35th minute of play. Armand Hemeleers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Kismi having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Fermin Mingo made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, C. A. Atlanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Padro to maneuver through the defense. Arnoldo Kismi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armand Hemeleers in the 58th minute of play. A collision led to KV Schoonwater getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Gillis Lembrechts hit a great ball. Mario Padro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luukas Schooters in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnoldo Kismi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 69 played minutes KV Schoonwater got a freekick which was hit by Maxime Caes. C. A. Atlanta's Arnoldo Kismi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armand Hemeleers in the 72nd minute of play. Fermin Mingo hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Armand Hemeleers's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnoldo Kismi was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Billy Rijmenams charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Billy Rijmenams the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mario Padro hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. KV Schoonwater's Ivo Streels was substituted for Gillis Lembrechts. The supporters of KV Schoonwater booed when C. A. Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Padro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th match minute, KV Schoonwater was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivo Streels to maneuver through the defense. In the 97th match minute, KV Schoonwater was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Perry Huygens to maneuver through the defense. C. A. Atlanta's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
