The supporters of Club Atlético Burzaco booed when Björnlunda IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Klas Lundgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stefan Eklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddy Bermund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Per-Olof Björkkvist hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. 34 minutes into the match, Freddy Bermund had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stefan Eklund. Björnlunda IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Freddy Bermund was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 38th minute, Klas Lundgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stefan Eklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddy Bermund in the 40th minute of play. Freddy Bermund who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Stefan Eklund when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The referee gave Club Atlético Burzaco a penalty, 45 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Victorio Bertran, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Björnlunda IF's Stefan Eklund. 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Freddy Bermund made the kick off in the second half. Narciso Gilen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Freddy Bermund put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Stefan Eklund. The audience was convinced that Freddy Bermund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stefan Eklund was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Stefan Eklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddy Bermund in the 67th minute of play. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Björnlunda IF's goalkeeper Stefan Eklund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 74 minutes Björnlunda IF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Victorio Bertran who took care of the corner kick. In the 78th minute Mariano Formerio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Eklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Björnlunda IF's zone, Freddy Bermund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stefan Eklund came out of the goal and Freddy Bermund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A sloppy throw-in by Amancio Peruxu in the 83rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Björnlunda IF's Calle Helberg. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Burzaco's Narciso Gilen got a free kick in the 84th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Freddy Bermund during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Club Atlético Burzaco getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Freddy Bermund hit a great ball. After 89 minutes, Roland Hjeltman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Björnlunda IF and the Club Atlético Burzaco players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th minute, Bruno Bide hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Club Atlético Burzaco had played much better football throughout.
