In the 13th minute of the match Frédson Rosa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elvio Cordarrol skillfully saved the ball. After 14 played minutes ✞ Fëntanilo! ツ got a freekick which was hit by Geronimo Eguerdi. Juan Balendin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ruy Oliveira. Papunhas EC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Rene Phelipe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ruy Oliveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Evis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ✞ Fëntanilo! ツ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rene Phelipe in the 25th minute. After taking down the ball on ✞ Fëntanilo! ツ's corner Rene Phelipe fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ruy Oliveira quite easily take care of the ball. With a little luck, Papunhas EC's Ruy Oliveira got control of the ball when Florencio Abarca tried to sneak it across the goal line. Papunhas EC's Ruy Oliveira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Papunhas EC from getting a goal against them. Ruy Oliveira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Florencio Abarca's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Severino Evis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Ruy Oliveira made a huge save. Severino Evis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The supporters of ✞ Fëntanilo! ツ booed when Papunhas EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artur do Nascimento didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 54 played minutes, ✞ Fëntanilo! ツ's Rene Phelipe shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ruy Oliveira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ✞ Fëntanilo! ツ reached it. 57 minutes into the match, Papunhas EC's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Evis came free, but Ruy Oliveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Papunhas EC's Artur do Nascimento got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ruy Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florencio Abarca in the 59th minute of play. João Carlos Negri kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. When ✞ Fëntanilo! ツ's Florencio Abarca in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 68th minute, Simão Porto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ruy Oliveira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ruy Oliveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florencio Abarca, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Ruy Oliveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florencio Abarca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute Florencio Abarca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruy Oliveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Severino Evis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ruy Oliveira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play.
