Hodiah Hory was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hodiah Hory made an important save on a dangerous shot by Niculae Măgureanu in the 38th minute. After some careless play in the Defensores De Eilat defense, Leontin Hâldan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hodiah Hory. The Defensores De Eilat fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hodiah Hory should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Defensores De Eilat's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leontin Hâldan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. In the 90th minute, Aurelian Iosif left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Champions Iasi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. Hodiah Hory showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leontin Hâldan, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leontin Hâldan in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hodiah Hory saved Defensores De Eilat from getting behind. When the referee ended the match the Champions Iasi players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
