Agustin Iyan came free with the goalkeeper in the 37th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Eliseo Corderro could save by the left post. Ruperto Abascal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 45 played minutes C.A BoQuiTa JrS got a freekick which was hit by Herminio Mergildo. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Herminio Mergildo made a kick off. 56 minutes into the game, Braulio Stanislao was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Xl Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A BoQuiTa JrS the free kick. Eliseo Corderro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Efrain Rius in the 58th minute of the match. C.A BoQuiTa JrS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Agustin Iyan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ruperto Abascal in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eliseo Corderro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 69thth minute of the game Efrain Rius who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A BoQuiTa JrS's Eliseo Corderro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Ruperto Abascal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ruperto Abascal in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eliseo Corderro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Xl Team's Agustin Iyan got a free kick in the 78th minute. Erubiel Cordeal made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Herminio Mergildo sent off a good shot on target. Ruperto Abascal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Eliseo Corderro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Justo Rosio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the match, Agustin Iyan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eliseo Corderro. C.A BoQuiTa JrS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Agustin Iyan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind C.A BoQuiTa JrS's goalkeeper Eliseo Corderro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 89th minute, Herminio Mergildo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eliseo Corderro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efrain Rius in the 91st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Xl Team had won after a very even match.
