The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Albin Anundsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alex Ramirez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albin Anundsson in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th minute Albin Anundsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Ramirez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. REAL COHOLICS's Alex Ramirez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albin Anundsson in the 9th minute of play. Alex Ramirez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albin Anundsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 13th match minute, E. C. Flamengo Paraibano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jefferson Ortiz to maneuver through the defense. Alex Ramirez was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the REAL COHOLICS defense, Bernardinho Vaz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alex Ramirez. The REAL COHOLICS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alex Ramirez should have stopped the shot. Fernando Henriguez charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fernando Henriguez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, REAL COHOLICS's Fernando Henriguez got a free kick in the 30th minute. Humberto Gómez got a throw-in 31 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Hector Urane. Albin Anundsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alex Ramirez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Jorginho Lago blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alex Ramirez having to make a save. Erberk Tunçkol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Alex Ramirez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erberk Tunçkol to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Vivaldo Cunha kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alex Ramirez. That made the score 0-4 in the 52 minute of play. After a rather tough play, E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's Albin Anundsson got a free kick in the 56th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Tijero during the 57th minute. In the 59th minute, Erberk Tunçkol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 64 minutes into the match, REAL COHOLICS's goal looked a bit too open when Vivaldo Cunha came free, but Alex Ramirez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albin Anundsson couldn't finish the play. After 70 played minutes REAL COHOLICS got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Murillo. E. C. Flamengo Paraibano made a substitution. Thomás Loureiro replaced Erberk Tunçkol. REAL COHOLICS's Alex Ramirez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardinho Vaz in the 74th minute of play. In the 76th minute, E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's Thomás Loureiro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. The supporters of REAL COHOLICS booed when E. C. Flamengo Paraibano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jefferson Ortiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind REAL COHOLICS's goalkeeper Alex Ramirez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 83rd minute, Bernardinho Vaz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The E. C. Flamengo Paraibano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. After 86 played minutes E. C. Flamengo Paraibano got a freekick which was hit by Thomás Loureiro. Thomás Loureiro hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. 91 minutes into the match, REAL COHOLICS's goalkeeper Alex Ramirez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jorginho Lago. After some careless play in the REAL COHOLICS defense, Thomás Loureiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alex Ramirez. The REAL COHOLICS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alex Ramirez should have stopped the shot. When the match was over E. C. Flamengo Paraibano could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than REAL COHOLICS throughout the match.
