When Nicolas Azubeli fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Millo de Haedo's protests and gave Nicolas Azubeli a yellow card for diving instead. Nicolas Azubeli kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. A collision led to El Millo de Haedo getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Javier Eguzki hit a great ball. Roceira SC's Carlos Eduardo Chaves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Piarres in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th minute El Millo de Haedo were awarded a corner. Sixto Vincent went to the cornerflag to take it. Sixto Vincent made a great header on El Millo de Haedo's corner, it was just that Roceira SC's Carlos Eduardo Chaves managed to reach the ball for a save. Nicolas Azubeli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Carlos Eduardo Chaves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, El Millo de Haedo's Teofilo Rojelio got control of the ball when Mário Nascimento tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mário Nascimento came free with the goalkeeper in the 28th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Teofilo Rojelio could save by the left post. The corner ended in Róbson Fantini almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but El Millo de Haedo's Teofilo Rojelio did a great save. After 40 played minutes El Millo de Haedo got a freekick which was hit by Nicolas Azubeli. Nicolas Azubeli stood ready after the free kick and tried to head the ball into the goal, but got pushed from behind by one of Roceira SC's defenders and the ball went out. El Millo de Haedo appealed in vain for a penalty, the referee looked over at the linesman, but the flag stayed down. No Penalty. In the 42nd minute, Washington dos Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

A collision led to El Millo de Haedo getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Sixto Vincent hit a great ball. Teofilo Rojelio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Washington dos Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Nicolas Azubeli hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Teofilo Rojelio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mário Nascimento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Roceira SC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Remo Gonçalves hit a great ball. Teofilo Rojelio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Remo Gonçalves went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Teofilo Rojelio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remo Gonçalves in the 72nd minute of play. Teofilo Rojelio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Washington dos Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Teofilo Rojelio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Washington dos Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teofilo Rojelio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Hoffmann in the 86th minute of play. Roceira SC's Carlos Eduardo Chaves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Azubeli in the 91st minute of play. Carlos Eduardo Chaves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicolas Azubeli in the 92nd minute. Hudson Falcão's late challenge caught a El Millo de Haedo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hudson Falcão helped the player get up and apologised. After 95 played minutes Roceira SC got a freekick which was hit by Hudson Falcão. There was no doubt that Roceira SC were the better team. Roceira SC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
