The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Niels Stuijt's late challenge caught a ✪ XV de Umarizal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Niels Stuijt helped the player get up and apologised. Niels Stuijt hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. After 3 played minutes, ✪ XV de Umarizal's Rodrigo Nestor shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ronald Kip came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ✪ XV de Umarizal reached it. Lucas Moura could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Ronald Kip made a huge save. Lucas Moura scored 1-0 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ronald Kip, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Frank Paulista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ronald Kip made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Paulista in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pannekoeken's goalkeeper Ronald Kip, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 20 minutes into the match, Rodrigo Nestor notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Pannekoeken's Ronald Kip. Ronald Kip was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The nice shot from Lucas Moura in the 23rdth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Ronald Kip had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. After 25 minutes of play, Pannekoeken's René Batum made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Remo Amaral was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pannekoeken's Ronald Kip proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Pannekoeken from getting a goal against them. If Rodrigo Nestor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of ✪ XV de Umarizal booed when Pannekoeken was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nick van den Eede didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th play minute James Rodrigues came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ronald Kip. 3-1. After some careless play in the Pannekoeken defense, Rodrigo Nestor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ronald Kip. The Pannekoeken fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ronald Kip should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Pannekoeken booed when ✪ XV de Umarizal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Messias didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Pannekoeken's Roger Heide got a free kick in the 46th minute. In the 48th minute, Frank Paulista fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Paulista stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ronald Kip took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Nestor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 55 minutes into the match, Lucas Moura notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Pannekoeken's Ronald Kip. Ronald Kip was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Remo Amaral made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olof Trenning in the 61st minute. In the 65th minute Frank Paulista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronald Kip saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucas Moura in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ronald Kip saved Pannekoeken from getting behind. If Frank Paulista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niels Stuijt hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. When Frank Paulista came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the ✪ XV de Umarizal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Paulista couldn't finish the play. Ronald Kip made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Nestor in the 76th minute of play. When Nick van den Eede fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pannekoeken's protests and gave Nick van den Eede a yellow card for diving instead. Nick van den Eede kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Frank Paulista scored 6-1 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ronald Kip, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ronald Kip showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Ronald Kip made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Paulista in the 81st minute of play. Ronald Kip showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Nestor in the 83rd minute of the match. Ronald Kip showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Nestor in the 94th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Pannekoeken's Olof Trenning got a free kick in the 94th minute. If Lucas Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that ✪ XV de Umarizal were the better team. ✪ XV de Umarizal's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
