Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Andy Somellera kicked off to start the match. 2 minutes into the match, Universitario's goalkeeper Matro Perramon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aydın Secaat. After 3 played minutes Universitario got a freekick which was hit by Iraido Arnaez. Matro Perramon was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Xabi Alonso showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. Matro Perramon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xabi Alonso in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th match minute, Gothic Souls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam King to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the match, Öztürk Umuralp had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Matro Perramon. Universitario's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Öztürk Umuralp was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Matro Perramon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ergün Penbe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ergün Penbe got free with Matro Perramon in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Gothic Souls getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Ergün Penbe hit a great ball. Matro Perramon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Öztürk Umuralp in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 44th match minute, Gothic Souls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aydın Secaat to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Öztürk Umuralp to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Universitario defense, Ergün Penbe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matro Perramon. The Universitario fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matro Perramon should have stopped the shot. Matro Perramon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aydın Secaat, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Özden Nesefi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ergün Penbe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Matro Perramon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Xabi Alonso notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Universitario's Matro Perramon. Matro Perramon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Matro Perramon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Öztürk Umuralp in the 77th minute of play. Xabi Alonso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Matro Perramon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute Aydın Secaat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matro Perramon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
