Herman Vist started the match with the kick off. With an all-out effort, Green Zombies's Reidar Hegna threw himself towards the right post 10 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nándor Gera, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 10 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Green Zombies's Nándor Gera fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. 18 minutes into the game, Green Zombies's Nándor Gera nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Reidar Hegna made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After 24 minutes, Stig Torsvik mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gullstad SK and the Green Zombies players grew even worse after the yellow card. Renátó Kurucz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reidar Hegna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renátó Kurucz, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Aasbø in the 35th minute of play forced Green Zombies's goalkeeper Lajos Vásárhelyi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute Herman Vist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lajos Vásárhelyi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Herman Vist in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lajos Vásárhelyi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herman Vist in the 40th minute of play forced Green Zombies's goalkeeper Lajos Vásárhelyi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lajos Vásárhelyi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christoffer Dreyer's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. 42 minutes into the game, Medárd Irmai was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Green Zombies's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gullstad SK the free kick. In the 42nd match minute, Green Zombies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Medárd Irmai to maneuver through the defense. Gullstad SK's Herman Vist got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nándor Gera stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nándor Gera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Reidar Hegna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lajos Vásárhelyi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christoffer Dreyer in the 56th minute of the match. Green Zombies's Lajos Vásárhelyi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Green Zombies from getting a goal against them. Gullstad SK's Reidar Hegna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nándor Gera in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th minute, Edvard Forbord hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 68 minutes into the match, Green Zombies's goal looked a bit too open when Herman Vist came free, but Lajos Vásárhelyi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edvard Forbord got free with Lajos Vásárhelyi in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Green Zombies getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Nándor Gera hit a great ball. In the 78th minute, Christoffer Dreyer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Gullstad SK's Sebastian Aasbø got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Lajos Vásárhelyi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christoffer Dreyer in the 86th minute. Lajos Vásárhelyi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herman Vist, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Sebastian Aasbø kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Green Zombies were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
