In the 26th minute of the game Cyril Cantrell made a throw-in which Aimé Ham played forward. 26 minutes into the game, one of El Stradivarius:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ramon Urbez struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Tomas Donovan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Stradivarius. Carrol McLean struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Melchor Medero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flames FC.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ramon Urbez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Melchor Medero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carrol McLean, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Melchor Medero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kermit Morris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. El Stradivarius's Melchor Medero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carrol McLean in the 62nd minute of play. Valère Flowers lost his temper 76 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. When Horace Vaughn fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Flames FC's protests and gave Horace Vaughn a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Flames FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Horace Vaughn hit a great ball. Tomas Donovan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ramon Urbez's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Horace Vaughn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Melchor Medero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that Flames FC were the better team. Flames FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
