Eliseu Chaves took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 3rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bernardino Nevada. Congo Bongo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 7th minute of the match Eliseu Chaves sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bernardino Nevada skillfully saved the ball. With his leg Iuri Vidal managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when Congo Bongo's Lino Tonete fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Iuri Vidal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lino Tonete in the 11th minute of the match. Ramiro Blai kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, ViraLataCaramelo U18's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lino Tonete fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Pedro Regis hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dinei Guerra in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernardino Nevada saved Congo Bongo from getting behind. Bernardino Nevada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cafu Porto in the 20th minute of the match. In the 24th match minute, ViraLataCaramelo U18 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardinho Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. Lino Tonete struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Iuri Vidal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Congo Bongo. 27 minutes into the match, Lino Tonete had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iuri Vidal. ViraLataCaramelo U18's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lino Tonete was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Pedro Regis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Iuri Vidal. Iuri Vidal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramiro Blai in the 40th minute of play. Lino Tonete scored 2-0 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iuri Vidal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tiburcio Rudolfo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Iuri Vidal. ViraLataCaramelo U18's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lino Tonete got free with Iuri Vidal in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lino Tonete made a kick off. A collision led to ViraLataCaramelo U18 getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Pedro Paulo Cosme hit a great ball. Ramiro Blai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Congo Bongo fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when Congo Bongo's Lino Tonete looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. André Luiz Porto hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Iuri Vidal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lino Tonete's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. In the 80th minute, Lino Tonete left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Congo Bongo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramiro Blai in the 83rd minute of play forced ViraLataCaramelo U18's goalkeeper Iuri Vidal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute, Orlando Piarres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute, Ramiro Blai ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iuri Vidal was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. When the referee ended the match the Congo Bongo players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
