Spectators: 7665 (Terracing: 5750, Seating: 1762, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sadettin Açıkalın started the match with the kick off. Petter Vartdal hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Seyfi İpekli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sarı kaya FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Seyfi İpekli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christer Waaler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sarı kaya FK's Edip Demirtekin got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Åsnes's zone, Edip Demirtekin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christer Waaler came out of the goal and Edip Demirtekin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 23 minutes into the game, Sarı kaya FK's Sadettin Açıkalın nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christer Waaler made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Petter Vartdal scored 1-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Furkan Gurbet, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Christer Waaler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dursun Yasin in the 29th minute of play. Åsnes's Christer Waaler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dursun Yasin in the 31st minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Sadettin Açıkalın had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christer Waaler. Åsnes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sadettin Açıkalın was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. When Sadettin Açıkalın came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Sarı kaya FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sadettin Açıkalın couldn't finish the play. Sarı kaya FK's Furkan Gurbet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Kenneth Woll in the 47th minute of play. In the 48th minute, Jan-Kenneth Woll got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half Sarı kaya FK were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jan-Kenneth Woll to make the kick off. Jan-Kenneth Woll hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute Jonathan Vie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Furkan Gurbet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, Jonathan Vie notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Sarı kaya FK's Furkan Gurbet. Furkan Gurbet was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Furkan Gurbet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Kenneth Woll, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Furkan Gurbet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Buvarp in the 65th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Jon Hesjedal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 70 played minutes Sarı kaya FK got a freekick which was hit by Eser Akbatu. In the 79th minute, Jon Hesjedal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petter Vartdal in the 83rd minute of play forced Sarı kaya FK's goalkeeper Furkan Gurbet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sarı kaya FK's Furkan Gurbet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Kenneth Woll in the 94th minute of play. Furkan Gurbet didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jonathan Vie went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. The Åsnes support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
