In the 7th minute, CD Boiro's Estefan Canosa seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Estefan Canosa the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of CD Boiro protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Estefan Canosa had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 6th minute, one of CD Boiro:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for CD Boiro. Marcinho Gomes placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind CD Boiro's goalkeeper Walme Ortega, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 20thth minute of the game Reynaldo Dionísio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CD Boiro's Walme Ortega was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 20th minute, Bienvenido Saavedra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Reynaldo Dionísio got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Florian Ramirez hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Dorival Brodel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute.
