Asensio Berzosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicasio Ongile, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, Roneros F.C.'s goalkeeper Asensio Berzosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfonso Isaio. A collision led to EL CERVECERO F.C. getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Antonio Ospetsu hit a great ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 24th minute of the game. One of EL CERVECERO F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Roneros F.C.:s goal. In the 26th minute there was a penalty for Roneros F.C.. René Emperanza stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Arnaldo Macerio. 0-3. Xulian Vegal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 33 minutes into the match, Roneros F.C.'s goalkeeper Asensio Berzosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfonso Isaio. If Xulian Vegal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Mauricio Ureta came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Roneros F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mauricio Ureta couldn't finish the play. 44 minutes into the match, EL CERVECERO F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Hernando Vilaprenyo came free, but Arnaldo Macerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 46 played minutes Roneros F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Fortunato Mel. After the first half Roneros F.C. were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hernando Vilaprenyo made a kick off. After 52 played minutes Roneros F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Xulian Vegal. Aquiles Ferrando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. René Emperanza kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Ximenez Aller took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 67th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arnaldo Macerio. EL CERVECERO F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aquiles Ferrando during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Roneros F.C. booed when EL CERVECERO F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquiles Ferrando didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Mauricio Ureta kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arnaldo Macerio. That made the score 1-4 in the 70 minute of play. EL CERVECERO F.C.'s attentive Pastor Patxi managed to snatch the ball when Fortunato Mel made a throw-in in the 74th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pastor Patxi in the 77th minute of play forced Roneros F.C.'s goalkeeper Asensio Berzosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. EL CERVECERO F.C.'s Arnaldo Macerio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save EL CERVECERO F.C. from getting a goal against them. Alfonso Isaio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Asensio Berzosa having to interfere. Edwin Juarrero kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. EL CERVECERO F.C.'s Arnaldo Macerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernando Vilaprenyo in the 88th minute of play. If Mauricio Ureta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The throw-in from Rodriguez Iribarria in the 95th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by EL CERVECERO F.C.'s Pastor Patxi. Ximenez Aller lost his temper 95 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. When Alfonso Isaio came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the EL CERVECERO F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfonso Isaio couldn't finish the play. The Roneros F.C. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
