Yannik Leenknecht fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilixo Jauregui having to interfere. Laureano Sevilla kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Victorio Zabalo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ilixo Jauregui made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jochen De Muysere in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorio Zabalo in the 59th minute of play forced Minion Mim's goalkeeper Constantijn Bracke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Minion Mim's Constantijn Bracke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorio Zabalo in the 73rd minute of play. Constantijn Bracke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yanick Valkeneers made in the 88th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by April 25 SC's Eli Antunez. Walter Jaspers charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Walter Jaspers the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Benito Marques came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the April 25 SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benito Marques couldn't finish the play. Minion Mim were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over April 25 SC's much stronger midfield.
