Spectators: 7490 (Terracing: 5618, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Yuri Gaspar started the match with the kick off. After 7 played minutes RB Buzău got a freekick which was hit by Nistor Balint. After 8 minutes, Mugur Pantea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RB Buzău and the Sporting Clube Patrício players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 8th minute, Mugur Pantea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Rúben Dantas in the 9th minute really tested Gigel Lupea's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Rúben Dantas hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute, Șerban Baicea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Sporting Clube Patrício getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Gustavo Ferrão hit a great ball. Gigel Lupea made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Mauro Zarco sent off a good shot on target. Sporting Clube Patrício's Yuri Gaspar got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Almiro Setúbal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Ioviță in the 47th minute of play. Gigel Lupea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustavo Ferrão went, in the 49th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Iustin Belu made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Yuri Gaspar made a precise shot to the right of Gigel Lupea. RB Buzău's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Rúben Dantas took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gigel Lupea. Gigel Lupea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Gigel Lupea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yuri Gaspar went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. When Bruno Serpa fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sporting Clube Patrício's protests and gave Bruno Serpa a yellow card for diving instead. After 72 played minutes Sporting Clube Patrício got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Serpa. Almiro Setúbal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iustin Belu in the 73rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yuri Gaspar in the 74th minute of play forced RB Buzău's goalkeeper Gigel Lupea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yuri Gaspar during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 79th match minute, Sporting Clube Patrício was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yuri Gaspar to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute Armando Vides shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigel Lupea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gigel Lupea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Vides, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. When Mauro Zarco came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Sporting Clube Patrício fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mauro Zarco couldn't finish the play. Mauro Zarco struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Gigel Lupea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting Clube Patrício. Armando Vides sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yuri Gaspar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gigel Lupea having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sporting Clube Patrício had played much better football throughout.
