Guillermo Viscarra came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by STARGARD FC's Franz-Josef Beckenbauer. But to his dismay, Franz-Josef Beckenbauer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. STARGARD FC's Lance Haßke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Epifanio Abaurre in the 10th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Epifanio Abaurre's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lance Haßke was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. STARGARD FC's Lance Haßke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Epifanio Abaurre in the 17th minute of play. Lance Haßke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Epifanio Abaurre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfred Junitz's late challenge caught a Escuadrón Mercenario's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfred Junitz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd match minute, STARGARD FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfred Junitz to maneuver through the defense. Escuadrón Mercenario's Epifanio Abaurre got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Alfred Junitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lance Haßke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Udalaitz Abella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Epifanio Abaurre struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Lance Haßke didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Escuadrón Mercenario. 40 minutes into the match, STARGARD FC's goal looked a bit too open when Epifanio Abaurre came free, but Lance Haßke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Epifanio Abaurre was the one to do the kick off. Bruno Wiederhold sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Epifanio Abaurre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Lance Haßke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Escuadrón Mercenario's Jeremy Abancens got a free kick in the 55th minute. Guillermo Viscarra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franz-Josef Beckenbauer in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Julius Kaiser hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Epifanio Abaurre got free with Lance Haßke in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 62 minutes into the game, Bruno Wiederhold was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. STARGARD FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Escuadrón Mercenario the free kick. Guillermo Viscarra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfred Junitz in the 65th minute of play. In the 73rdth minute of the game Epifanio Abaurre who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but STARGARD FC's Lance Haßke was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lance Haßke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joey Abaunza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Epifanio Abaurre put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Lance Haßke. Epifanio Abaurre struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Lance Haßke didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Escuadrón Mercenario. Epifanio Abaurre who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 85thth minute tested the skills of Lance Haßke when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpected shot in the 86th minute by Iztal Aballe got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A collision led to Escuadrón Mercenario getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Amado Abar hit a great ball. Guillermo Viscarra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfred Junitz in the 90th minute of the match. Joey Abaunza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 93 played minutes STARGARD FC got a freekick which was hit by Julius Kaiser. Amado Abar was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 94th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 95 minutes into the match, Escuadrón Mercenario's Epifanio Abaurre sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lance Haßke narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Escuadrón Mercenario played a much better game than STARGARD FC and deserved their victory. The STARGARD FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
