Galsino Navarro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rosero Agranja's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Lander Coya kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Juan Sánchez took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Guerrero Marva to make any attempt to save it. Juan Sánchez might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Guerrero Marva. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juan Sánchez ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juan Sánchez got free with Guerrero Marva in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Guerrero Marva was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Juan Sánchez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 23 minute of play. 30 minutes into the game, Alberto Amaya cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Galsino Navarro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 34 minutes into the game, Barcelona de América's Alberto Amaya nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Galsino Navarro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rosero Agranja in the 38th minute of play forced Tirant lo Blanch's goalkeeper Galsino Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 39 played minutes Tirant lo Blanch got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Giner. Felix Llantada recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rosero Agranja in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Galsino Navarro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Barcelona de América's Alberto Amaya got a free kick in the 44th minute. Juan Sánchez in the 45thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Guerrero Marva, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rosero Agranja stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Lander Coya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Alberto Amaya took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Galsino Navarro to make any attempt to save it. Zeledon Cevallo made in the 66th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Tirant lo Blanch's Abejundio Mendez. Mauricio Cabezas hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute Juan Sánchez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guerrero Marva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tirant lo Blanch's attentive Gai Alavedra managed to snatch the ball when Zeledon Cevallo made a throw-in in the 90th minute of the game. In the 93rd minute, Mauricio Cabezas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the match, Tirant lo Blanch's goal looked a bit too open when Rosero Agranja came free, but Galsino Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
