The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gaston Aztore didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joel Cordaryal's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Vergaray Esquide skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 15 minutes into the match, Audaz FC's goalkeeper Vergaray Esquide had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jorge Bustillo. During the 18th minute of the match Villafuerte Pose completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Villafuerte Pose a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Villafuerte Pose hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Audaz FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Leandro Santo scored to the left of an out of position Vergaray Esquide, making the score, 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorge Bustillo got free with Vergaray Esquide in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Torbellino's Leandro Santo got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 32 played minutes Audaz FC got a freekick which was hit by Casado Armental. Honorato Bilintx struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Vergaray Esquide didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Torbellino. Vergaray Esquide was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Jorge Bustillo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jorge Bustillo really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Joel Cordaryal hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Salas Ibero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jorge Bustillo made a kick off. Salas Ibero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Bustillo having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leandro Santo in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vergaray Esquide saved Audaz FC from getting behind. A collision led to Torbellino getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Leandro Santo hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Torbellino defense, Salas Ibero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emiliano Bustillo. The Torbellino fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emiliano Bustillo should have stopped the shot. After 61 played minutes Torbellino got a freekick which was hit by Gaston Aztore. 64 minutes into the game, Audaz FC's Héctor Ambrosio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emiliano Bustillo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. After 68 played minutes Torbellino got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Noe. Leandro Santo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Torbellino's Jorge Bustillo in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Audaz FC's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Torbellino getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Felipe Noe hit a great ball. Emiliano Bustillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salas Ibero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Audaz FC's Salas Ibero got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Torbellino's Emiliano Bustillo got control of the ball when Kaviedes Arin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jorge Bustillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vergaray Esquide having to interfere. Emiliano Bustillo stood somewhat misplaced when Héctor Ambrosio came free in front of goal and shot 3-3 to the left of him in the 93 minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
