Jakov Stähr scored 4-0 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of 巩乐康, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jakov Stähr came free with the goalkeeper in the 18th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and 巩乐康 could save by the left post. A collision led to 中国温州 getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Lennart Jøssang hit a great ball. 巩乐康 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jakov Stähr in the 26th minute. 中国温州's 巩乐康 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save 中国温州 from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Henrik Reifer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 巩乐康 was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. In the 35th play minute Per Schäfer came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised 巩乐康. 6-0. After 37 played minutes Sydney FC got a freekick which was hit by Don Küttner. 巩乐康 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Klaus Mogg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Lennart Jøssang fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 中国温州's protests and gave Lennart Jøssang a yellow card for diving instead. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jakov Stähr stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play, Sydney FC's Jakov Stähr made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 巩乐康 was left in no man's land by his defense there! 巩乐康 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Klaus Mogg in the 55th minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, Jakov Stähr notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of 中国温州's 巩乐康. 巩乐康 was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 巩乐康 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jakov Stähr in the 63rd minute of play. 洪剑景 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rasmus Gölz having to interfere. Sydney FC's Bartolomeo Heinlein was substituted for Klaus Mogg. Henrik Reifer kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. The Sydney FC fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Sydney FC's Jakov Stähr looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 11-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 84th minute, Per Schäfer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sydney FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 12-0. After some careless play in the 中国温州 defense, Jakov Stähr kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 巩乐康. The 中国温州 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 巩乐康 should have stopped the shot. In the 93rd minute, Bartolomeo Heinlein ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 巩乐康 was frozen by the shot and now it was 14-0.
