The audience was convinced that Rafael Veiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Domenico Bertolini was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. 20 minutes into the game, Zé Roberto da Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PomeziaRamblers the free kick. After 20 played minutes Milan da Freguesia F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Zé Roberto da Costa. With a little luck, PomeziaRamblers's Domenico Bertolini got control of the ball when Rafael Veiga tried to sneak it across the goal line. PomeziaRamblers's Domenico Bertolini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save PomeziaRamblers from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Veiga in the 39th minute of play forced PomeziaRamblers's goalkeeper Domenico Bertolini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
