Spectators: 7545 (Terracing: 5660, Seating: 1735, VIP seats: 150) Águilas Poblanas's Desiderio Handi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ger de Vries's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cornelio Mino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Buitenhout FC's goal looked a bit too open when Desiderio Handi came free, but Maximino Cristofanini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vitinho Favoretto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Vitinho Favoretto put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Cornelio Mino. When Buitenhout FC's Ruud Reinders in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Águilas Poblanas's goalie prevented a goal. Cornelio Mino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vitinho Favoretto went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. A collision led to Águilas Poblanas getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Roberto Mateus hit a great ball. In the 34th match minute, Buitenhout FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ger de Vries to maneuver through the defense. Vitinho Favoretto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Cornelio Mino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With 41 minutes on the clock, Gustavo Chabier commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 41 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Águilas Poblanas! Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ruud Reinders stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ruud Reinders in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cornelio Mino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ruud Reinders recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Buitenhout FC's Vitinho Favoretto got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cornelio Mino made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Ger de Vries sent off a good shot on target. Buitenhout FC's Vitinho Favoretto got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ruud Reinders received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Cornelio Mino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 72 minutes into the game, Desiderio Handi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Águilas Poblanas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Buitenhout FC the free kick. The supporters of Buitenhout FC booed when Águilas Poblanas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Desiderio Handi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ab Roelfs, 74 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 75th minute, René Douwes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute, Vitinho Favoretto reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cornelio Mino. The goal made the score 0-5. After 87 played minutes Águilas Poblanas got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Mateus. Maximino Cristofanini didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Justo Sagrario went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. When the final whistle sounded Buitenhout FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Águilas Poblanas.
